E-CAP RAW

The E-Cap AC audio coupling and signal capacitors are bipolar aluminum electrolytic capacitors. These caps are used in applications where film capacitors are not suitable for reasons due to space and cost. It is a perfect solution for crossover networks.
The E-Cap RAW series is the smallest and lowest costing Mundorf audio capacitors. To achieve this, Mundorf uses a special etching process to enlarge the surface are of the aluminum foils. Because the capacitance is propotional to the surface area, this etching technique increases the surface area, hence increasing the capacitance.
